ACA Code of Ethics, we prioritize client autonomy, informed consent, and financial transparency. Offering CareCredit as a financing option is intended solely to increase access to counseling services and reduce financial barriers—not to encourage unnecessary services or create financial harm.
Clients are
never required to use CareCredit and are informed of all available payment options prior to initiating services. We clearly disclose service fees, billing practices, and potential financial obligations in advance, including providing a
Good Faith Estimate (GFE) as required under the
No Surprises Act for self-pay and uninsured clients.
